Bakhodir Bakiyev: "We will fight, we will not give up!"

The Uzbek sambo championship is currently being held in Tashkent. Of course, the best sambo wrestlers of Uzbekistan also take part in this tournament. In particular, the world champion in martial sambo Bakhodir Bakiyev took part in the new weight category of 64 kg and once again won the title of champion of Uzbekistan. 

This athlete, who fights not only in sambo but also in MMA, will fight in the 3rd tournament of "Muradov_ professional_ Liga" on February 27. We had a brief conversation with this representative. 

- First of all, congratulations on becoming the champion of Uzbekistan once again!

- Thank you very much!

- You took part in the new weight category - 64 kg, was it a problem?

- No, I can't say that I had difficulties. Although the new weight class, everything was fine. I think I will win the world championship in this weight category as well. 

- In fact, you will fight in "Muradov_ professional_ Liga" on February 27, what is your physical condition?

- I am in the very good physical condition and I hope that on February 27 I will be able to win and make everyone happy. 

- Did you get injured in the middle of the championship of Uzbekistan?

- In my first speech, I took my share of my shoes. In the semifinals, my nose was broken. Now I have to deal with it.

- Wouldn't these injuries be a pandemic on February 27th?

-   Absolutely not. We will fight, we will not give up! We don't care if we have a leg injury or a broken nose, and we try to win.
