Chess. Umida Omonova won the Asian Championship

The young Uzbek chess player Umida Omonova won the Asian Junior Championship.

He competed on the G20-Rapid route of the Western Asia Chess Championship 2022 tournament and eventually took first place, scoring 6 points out of 7 attempts.

Umida adequately defended the honor of Uzbekistan at the 44th Chess Olympiad in the Indian city of Chennai.
