Melikuziev is ready to come back, faces Zegarra on March 19

Uzbek native super middleweight fighter Bektemir Melikuziev (8-1, 6KOs) comes back to the professional ring for the first time in 2022. Melikuziev is slated to face Canadian David Zegarra (34-7, 21KO) in a ten-round scheduled super lightweight contest on March 19 on the undercard of Vergil Ortiz Jr. vs. Michael McKinson at USC Galen Center in Los Angeles, promoted by Golden Boy Promotions, and broadcast worldwide on DAZN. 

Melikziev defeated Sergei Ekimov of Russia by UD in a boxing match held in Tashkent on December 17, 2021.
