Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov beats Russian Dmitry Spivak to earn Governor Cup gold medal

Uzbek boxers returned to Governor Cup with an amazing performance in the event.

Uzbekistan’s next big hope, AIBA World Champion and ASBC Asian Champion Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov had another tough opponent in the final of the featherweight (57kg), a boxer from Russia, Dmitry Spivak.

Mirzakhalilov moved ahead and his confident style delivered for him a victory in the Governor Cup as he was able to solve that tactical job and won the title at the Sibur Arena.
