Diyor Imomkhujaev, acting general director of the Uzbekistan Professional Football League, spoke about the problems at the Surkhon club on his telegram channel.

Congratulations to FC Surkhon and its fans on the first point of the season. We believe that now the club will be guided by its clear principles and direction.

FC Surkhon was a very problematic club. The new leadership has had great difficulty in listing players. Even on February 20, not much was known. The real work began only 3 days before the transfer window closed. As a result, it is natural that there will be problems in the composition of FC Surkhon, but time did not allow to do everything well in this regard.

But the club is setting big goals. The main task is to renovate the stadium, form the academy and at the same time strengthen the main team. But this is not an easy task. It is natural that 2022 will be difficult and challenging for FC Surkhon. If all goes well, a new page in the history of the club could be opened in 2023. We wish success to the team," - wrote Diyor Imomkhodjaev.
