Photo Gallery. 2019 Asian Karate Championship medallists arrive in Tashkent

21 athletes representing Uzbekistan struggled with the opponents from 10 countries and claimed 11 gold, 9 silver and 7 bronze medals in the 8-day-long competition.

Jahongir Abduvahobov, Muzaffar Hojiev, Hojiahror Ibrohimov, Mehrojiddin Jalolov, Umarkhon Muhammadiev, Sanjar Ulashev and Omina Sulaymonova earned gold medals in their respective weight classes while their compatriots Toshtemir Pulatov and Nodirkhon Soliev gained double gold medals in two events.

They were welcomed at the Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov by the officials from National Olympic Committee, a sea of fans and media.
