"As some players think about themselves, this was news for me" - Asror Alikulov about his career in FC Kizilkum, the team that showed a surprise and his plans

Asror Alikulov, who was appointed as the head coach of FC Kizilkum at the beginning of the season, did not last long. As a result, Alikulov's debut as a head coach in the Super League was unsuccessful. But he is ready to start all over again.

- Asror Chorievich, how did the first round go for you and what would you say before the second round begins?

- Judging by the transfers made by the teams and the players they attract, some of our teams are trying to save their lives, and other teams are trying to strengthen their team to defend the honor of our country in the Asian Champions League. A very interesting second round awaits us. In the first round, some clubs scored good points, while others did not score enough points. Therefore, the teams weighed and analyzed everything after the first round. It will be interesting to see how the newly acquired players perform in the second round. The most interesting thing is that more Georgian players are being attracted to Uzbek championship this year. I think that the new players will try to show themselves in a good way. I watched the game of the Georgian legionnaire in FC Nasaf on the field. FC Pakhtakor is also getting stronger in every way.

- Which team surprised you the most?

- Except for Grands, it was such a team, but I wouldn't call it a surprise. But FC Surkhan was the team that kept itself fresh and fought without being afraid of other clubs. Most of the guys in the squad have not played at the Super League level before and have been able to put up a good fight. They were able to start their game.

- You coached FC Kizilkum in the first round, but you didn't stay there for long. What conclusions did you draw from this work? For example, where do you think I went wrong?

- In January, 100 percent of last year's main team players left the team. We tried to save some of them. However, we did not achieve this in the general sense. Later, there were difficulties in inviting players. Let's say that the players are not used to the salary set by the management and we have tried to build a squad with players who are mainly used to those salaries. The main mistake was the dissatisfaction of the players from game to game. What kind of players after every match... We, coaches, think of the team's interests first and create a team. We prepare for the game thinking about his achievement. However, some players are thinking about themselves. This was news to me. The player should not only think about himself, but the interest of the team should come first. But if each player puts his own interests first, there will be no order and he will not be able to achieve the desired results. With this, it becomes impossible to be a family. The situation became worse game by game, and in this situation, I decided to leave the team.

- This was your debut as a head coach in the Super League. Did choosing FC Kizilkum turn out to be a wrong decision for you later? Or maybe you should have been tougher to show off...What do you think?

- The other side should be taken into account. We could only get 10 new players due to the limit. We don't have a lot of players. Everyone should be a family. We got off to a rough start. FC Navbahor and after that, we had more difficult meetings. Some players behaved inappropriately. I think that such circumstances affected the results of the club. There were problems with getting along with the players. Now FC Kizilkum has made good transfers for the second round. For example, we wanted to get a Georgian player who played in the team before. But we could not do it. I do not know the new leader of FC Kizilkum very well. But the team needs a good manager. First of all, you need to set up the system. Previously, Temurkhoja or other players who played in the club talked about professionalism. There is truth in the words of some biased players. If there is a certain system, the players will work according to it. If the team passes this stage, it will gradually get back on its feet.

- What is your plan? Any suggestions?

- I tried to go to the end, but unfortunately, I was unsuccessful. Therefore, it is not scary for me to start my work again from a lower level. I will try to go higher. There are offers, but no serious interest yet. I am at home for now.
