In the same year, he defeated all his strong rivals in the championship of Uzbekistan among adults and became a champion of the country. Bektemir attracted the attention of experts with his brilliant fighting style.

The results in prestigious competitions among adults were also impressive. In 2015, Bektemir won a gold medal at the Asian Championships and a silver medal at the World Championships. A year later, he also won the title of vice-champion at the Olympics. He then lifted his weight to 81 pounds. In the new weight category, he became a world champion and continental champion.

Bektemir started his professional boxing career on June 13, 2019. In his first fight against Fidel Martin Rios knocked out his highly experienced opponent in the first round.

Promoters of Bektemir, who makes all his fights in the United States, face opponents who have participated in many fights in the professional ring and are listed at the top of the rankings.
