Our compatriot Afruza Hamdamova has achieved another historic result at the World Youth Championships!

Afruza secured her status as a two-time world champion by clinching an early victory in the under-16 girls' category at the World Championship taking place in Brazil! It's worth noting that in 2023, Hamdamova won the World Championship for the under-14 age group held in Italy, becoming the first Uzbek female world champion in women's chess.
