Giyasov and Dusmatov to participate in AIBA World Boxing Championships in Belgrade

AIBA World Boxing Championship will be held in Belgrade, Serbia from October 22 to November 7 this year. The national team of Uzbekistan is expected to take part in the championship at all weights. 

Uzbekistan national boxing team members are seriously preparing for the competition, which is held every two years. It is noteworthy that the team also includes the vice-champion of the Rio Olympics, the winner of the World Championship in Germany in 2017 Shakhram Giyosov (-71 kg) and the Olympic champion Hasanboy Dusmatov (-51 kg).

 

Nodirjon Mirzakhmedov (-48 kg), Shakhobiddin Zoirov (-54 kg), Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov (-57 kg), Abdumalik Khalokov (-60 kg), Mujibullo Tursunov (-63.5 kg), Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev (-67 kg), Saidjamshid Jafarov (-75 kg), Odiljon Aslonov (-80 kg), Shohjahon Abdullaev (-86 kg), Madiyor Saidrakhimov (-92 kg), Lazizbek Mullajonov (+91 kg)  are also included for Uzbekistan team.
