International scientific and practical conference on sports medicine started in Tashkent

The head of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov and the Secretary-General of the Committee Oybek Kasimov attended the opening ceremony of the seminar together with the representatives of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Sports Medicine under the leadership of Abdushukur Sadykov, famous representatives of sports medicine of our country, guests and media representatives.

Opening the event, Rustam Shaabdurakhmonov dwelled on the ongoing reforms in the industry, the government's attention to sports, in particular to medicine, and expressed sincere wishes to the participants of the event. Then Abdushukur Sadykov spoke about the latest achievements in the field of health care and sports medicine.

Russian professor Boris Polyakov was the first to speak at the international seminar on the topic: "Achievements and problems of sports medicine in the Russian Federation." It should be noted that reputable scientists, doctors from Germany, Italy, England, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, as well as our compatriots in the field of sports medicine, physiology, psychology, genetics and sports pharmacology, will speak at this conference, as well as talk about the latest achievements and techniques in this area.

The international seminar will continue its work in the afternoon in 3 sections: in 2 halls of the Tashkent International hotel and in the building of the NOC.
