Sharifa Davronova Wins Silver at Asian Athletics Championships

On the very first day of competition, Team Uzbekistan secured a podium finish at the Asian Athletics Championships.

In the women’s triple jump, Uzbekistan’s Sharifa Davronova claimed the silver medal with an impressive result of 13.74 meters.

1st place Li Yi (China) – 13.80 m
2 nd place Sharifa Davronova (Uzbekistan) – 13.74 m
3 rd place Mariko Marimoto (Japan) – 13.65 m

Davronova’s performance puts her among Asia’s best, narrowly missing the gold by just 6 centimeters.
