According to the results of 2022, the International Judo Federation (IJF) has identified the strongest in the world. Among the candidates were members of the national team of Uzbekistan.

According to the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Davlat Bobonov was nominated in the nomination “Best judoka of the Year", and Ilias Iliadis - in the nomination “Best Coach of the Year”.
