Real Madrid is selling a Japanese player

"Real" midfielder Takefusa Kubo is close to moving to "Real Sociedad".

According to Fabrizio Romano, the 21-year-old Japanese player will undergo a medical with the Basques in the next few hours. At the same time, Madrid will sell only half of Kubo's transfer rights to Sociedad for 6.5 million euros.

The midfielder himself will sign a 5-year contract with Sociedad.

Over the past three years, Kubo has played on loan at Mallorca (twice), Getafe and Villarreal.
