
Judo Tournament “New Olympic Heights of Uzbekistan” Kicks Off in Bukhara
Regional judo competitions have started in the Bukhara district as part of the national tournament “New Olympic Heights of Uzbekistan”. This initiative aims to promote mass sports, identify talented youth, and prepare promising athletes for future international competitions.
The opening matches showcased a high level of athletic preparation among participants.
Winners of the regional stage will earn the right to compete in the tournament's final round.
Notable performances came from athletes of the Minor Judo Club (Bukhara), trained by Mirali Sharipov, Akram Azimov, and Akbar Azimov.
Victories in their respective weight classes:
- Abdukabir Salomov – up to 60 kg
- Dilshod Salomov – up to 66 kg
- Asilbek Obidov – up to 55 kg
- Parizoda Narzullaeva – up to 63 kg
The Uzbekistan Judo Federation press office highlighted their confident victories as a reflection of strong preparation and competitive spirit.
